Get In. Play

4 Contestants. 4 Glass Tanks. 8 Nokia Phones. 48 Hours. $5,000.
Do you have what it takes? Take the challenge and explore the next episode in video, music and games.

Agoraphobia? Claustrophobia? These words do not exist in the vocabularies of our four contestants. This is the story of how Marcus, Gwen, Dawne and Lucas fought the good fight at Nokia's Digital Playzone, 16 - 18 November at Orchard Cineleisure.

All smiles for now... Marcus, Lucas, Dawne & Gwen.

Support from friends, family, members of the public and SMS voters was also considered a key factor in determining the winner

In the end there could only be one. Congratulations Dawne! What will you do with the 5 grand?

Christmas Cheer Comes Early @ Creatus

These days it seems everyone's going green. The festive season came early this year to Clarke Quay, as Creatus put on a stellar Christmas centrepiece for Heineken's "The World Celebrates With Heineken" campaign, showcasing a synergy that went beyond similar corporate colours (ok so maybe the Pantones are different, but who's counting?)

The star of the show...Heineken's beer-bottle tree. Legend has it that Bernard and co. had to individually drink each bottle as suppliers refused to deliver empty bottles. Allegedly only ah!

Tourists lapping up the atmosphere as night falls

These are dangerous times, even for Santa, so he's traded in his sleigh for an amphibious assault craft

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without Santa's little helpers!

The final quarter of the year is always a backbreaker in the events line, so it's good to know that with people like Bernard, Zen & co., Christmas will always be safe! Great job, everyone!

It's all in the details ...

Hi guys, Thank you very much for the birthday cake and well wishes today!  Nothing warms the heart better than to know that your colleagues and friends bother to do the silly things (Bernard lying  about having a private discussion @ the cafe, Sean calling me to ask some silly IT question and Ivan standing at the door to "watch water"  - you guys really got me fooled this time but i really appreciate all your effort!

Today also reminds me of how little details can delight our customers. I am sure clients will appreciate a prompt contact report, a well checked proposal and regular updating calls that will go a long way in providing the kind of excellent client service that creatus was built on. Especially in our business of event management, its the little touches in the details that make or break an event. So lets take everyday as our client's birthday and be prepared to go the extra miles with the details to delight them, the way you have delighted me today.

Can someone please post up some pictures of the birthday cake and me in our new messy office?

The Nokia 6110 Navigator "Find your spot" Campaign

6 Road Shows, 38 hours, 926 lucky draw entries, 8000 product pamplets given out, 992 people engaged, 28 navigators and 2 days of island-wide deployment. We have finally concluded the Nokia 6110 Navigator “Find your Spot” Campaign.

After the event, I can truly say that the Nokia 6110 Navigator is a phone that truly shows you where to go.

I have to admit that I did not find the Navigator very pleasing to the eye when I first encountered it during the Media Launch but trust me, this phone grows on you. Sean was hooked to it after it led him from our office to a warehouse in Pasir Panjang.

There are a million different ways to market this phone, and of course countless different media to choose from. TV, Radio, Newspapers, Billboards or even web based marketing
What a consumer see and hear can never be compared to trying out the phone him or herself
Like what was done with the N95 Wireless Adventure, we zoomed in on experiential marketing
People from the streets were given the opportunity to use the phone. Yeah, USE it
Our Navigators were given short and sharp instructions on how to engage with people
The Navigators improved tremendously along the way, and by the last event at Cineleisure, the streets was indeed their playground

How did we manage to deliver the event in less than 2 weeks?
2 weeks of scrambling, countless ad-hoc meetings and many cups of coffee indeed.
A few burnt week-ends. Not forgetting countless sleepless nights
The satisfied look on the client’s face makes it all worthwhile

Now, any of the lucky draw winners want to sell their Navigators?

Creatus' Chill-out Day!

19 June 2007 was our company's chillout day. We started the day at 9am with breakfast and an impressive presentation of Creatus' history. Simon sharedwith us how he started his very first event outside East Coast Park MacDonald playground with just a lorry and a few workers, and himself being the driver! Watching through his video library of past events was like going thru a time capsule. The amount of work we have accomplished was simply astonishing and unbelievable. How I wish I had join Creatus earlier to experience it all, especially when seeing all the bikini babes we have hired for most of our events :)

Following the presentation, we also had an interactive session of personal SWOT discussion and self-exploration. We talked about our individual strength and weakness with everyone having a turn to speak including Simon himself. I can fully understand his intention as he hopes to strengthen our individual weakness thru teamwork.

By the time we finished, it was already close to noon. Just as we were thinking that we are going back to our office to work, Simon actually surprised us by telling us to go to the cable-ski lagoon! He has actually book an hour of cable-ski fun for all of us. No wonder he told us to bring our swimwear the day before ... we knew something was up his sleeves .... Well that got everyone excited! Look at the pictures and you will see how much fun we had ... not to mentioned the bruised asses

Everyone was totally exhausted after the cable-skiing. Seeing us so hungry and tired, Simon suggested we go Mustafa for some roti prata. However while we were traveling halfway to Mustafa, everyone’s phone received a sms from Simon. He has actually plan a mini wireless adventure challenge in Mustafa!

And so we begin our little challenge. Our task was to find all the items he sends us with a picture taken beforehand. The winner will win for himself $50 cash! At first, we thought how hard can it be to find something in Mustafa, but we soon realize our naive thinking. We basically ran up and down the whole Mustafa many times till the security guard was staring at us fiercely. Finally through the combined effort of Ivan, Hector and myself, we managed to beat the rest to the challenge. I could still remember clearly the moment when the 3 of us ran towards Simon’s MX5 park at Rowell road with him waving the $50 at us.

Our next chillout is going to be the premiere screening of Transformers .... !!!!
